American Term Life Insurance History Project
Welcome to the American Term Life Insurance History Project. This hobby/project is intended to preserve early insurance history documentation in the hopes that it will be of interest and use to others.
Currently the archives are split into three seperate sections:
- Actuarial, Statistical, and Company Information:
This section houses older actuarial textbooks, statistical and company information (like annual reports of state insurance commissioners) and anything else that would be of interest to actuaries or researchers. - Insurance Agent Information:
The agent section contains salesperson paraphanelia. Items such as early agent licenses, prospecting information, and rate books are kept here. - Consumer Documentation:
This section contains early insurance contracts, advertising targetted at consumers, and anything else relevant to the end insurance user.
