Table No. NII gives a complete list of the Life, Casualty, Fidelity, and Real Estate Title insurance companies authorized to transact business in this State for the year ending December 31, 1887, with their location and officers. The following real estate title insurance companies were added to the list during 1887, namely: The Rochester Title Insurance Company, of Rochester, New York, and the Lawyers' Title Insurance Company, of New York, both organized under chapter 538 of the laws of 1885. The Homeopathic Mutual Life Insurance Company, of New York, has ceased transacting new business. and the Accident Insurance Company of North America, of Montreal, Canada, has withdrawn from this State and ceased the transaction of new business therein, and the certificates of authority to its former agents in this State have been revoked by this department.
