tion, rates are given for Endowments of longer duration than thirty years, for twenty payment Endowments at twenty-five, thirty, thirty-five and forty years, for Single Premiums on most forms and for 100 days of Preliminary Term.

The new rate books are now in process of preparation and it is expected that the)- will be ready for use in the field before many months have passed.

New Canvassing Book

is a new tool in the agents' official kit and will contain. in abbreviated form. considerable information al-ready appearing in several of the present Company publications.

Special Retirement Endowment

FOR WOMEN The addition of this contract to the agents' kit will open to Mutual Benefit men a market for a superior retirement contract among women. many of whom are ideal prospects. The new contract will mature at ages fifty -fire, sixty, or sixty-five. but. in some particulars. is different from the corresponding male life contract. It should be studied carefully. The sample rate sheets distributed at the convention contained the rates and values shown on page 1-1.

Disability Commissions

Perhaps no greater stir occurred during the convention than that which was caused by Mr. Kenagy's announcement that the Company was planning to pay commissions on sales of the Supplementary Disability policy. The Company's experience with its disability policy has been fay (liable enough that with a slight increase in rates it can pay full commissions on it. Mr. Kenagv pointed out that the Company wasn't "anxious'' but was "willing" to accept soundly selected cases and the convention took the announcement to its heart not only as a selling. but as a conservation tool. This comparison of new and old disability rates was distributed to delegates.
