If you need life insurance, you’re very overweight or obese, and you don’t want to have an insurance exam with your height and weight measurements taken, then we have a solution for you.
You probably already know that being overweight will have an impact on the cost of your policy, or it could result in you being declined altogether.
Fortunately, we can offer you insurance from a couple carriers that currently have no height/weight requirement.
The best one of these companies will currently offer you a maximum of $150,000, and the rates are surprisingly competitive.
For example, below are rates for $10,000, $75,000, and $150,000 of guaranteed level premium term insurance to age 100 at various ages. These are unisex rates, so males and females pay the same price, and smokers and non-smokers do, too. These are monthly rates:
If this doesn’t already sound too good to be true, you don’t even need to have an insurance exam or blood or urine test to qualify.
You must be able to answer “NO” to several questions to qualify, and one of the most important questions you must be able to answer “NO” to is if you have ever applied for and been rejected for life insurance.
This does NOT mean that you may have been told verbally or in an email by any agent, broker, or insurance website that you could not qualify for life insurance.
This DOES mean that you formally applied for life insurance with ANY life insurance company and received a letter or other communication directly from the insurance company that indicated that they declined you or rejected you for life insurance due to health or other reasons.
Once you’re declined, you’ll no longer be eligible to qualify for this no exam coverage, so you may want to consider purchasing this no exam life insurance before applying to any other insurance company.
How Do I Know If I Could Be Declined for Weight?
If you’re considering purchasing life insurance and you weigh even close to the weights shown in chart below, and/or if you are overweight and have any other health issues (i.e. diabetes, sleep apnea, uncontrolled cholesterol, uncontrolled high blood pressure, etc), you could possibly be declined with some insurance companies.
5’ 0” – 233 pounds
5’ 1” – 241 pounds
5’ 2” – 248 pounds
5’ 3” – 256 pounds
5’ 4” – 265 pounds
5’ 5” – 273 pounds
5’ 6” – 281 pounds
5’ 7” – 290 pounds
5’ 8” – 299 pounds
5’ 9” – 308 pounds
5’ 10”- 317 pounds
5’ 11”- 326 pounds
6’ 0” – 335 pounds
6’ 1” – 344 pounds
6’ 2” – 354 pounds
6’ 3” – 364 pounds
6’ 4” – 373 pounds
6’ 5” – 383 pounds
6’ 6” – 393 pounds
If you are overweight and have not had a medical check up within past year or so, it is possible that your blood sugar, blood pressure, or cholesterol levels could be abnormal. Any of these issues could cause you to be declined for the life insurance if your weight is even close to weight shown in chart above.
If you happen to apply to the wrong company, like Allstate, State Farm, Farmers, or any other insurance company that is not liberal for weight issues, then you could be declined!
What Are The Pros and Cons of This No Exam Coverage?
This no exam coverage provides full death benefit amount that you purchase on first day that policy is placed in force. Whether you die by any disease, sickness, illness or by accidental means, your beneficiary would get the full amount of life insurance as soon as the policy is placed in force.
This is NOT graded benefit coverage for which there is a two or three year waiting period before full benefit amount would be paid for death by disease, sickness, or illness.
This is a term life insurance policy with a guaranteed level premium to age 100. Your premium will never increase, and you can cancel at any time.
The coverage amount is projected to remain level to age 100 as well, yet it can be decreased after 10 years for the entire group if there’s unexpected mortality of the group. For example, if there is a significant number of death claims at one time due to a catastrophic event, the insurance company can decrease the coverage amount for the entire group after the policy has been in force for 10 years.
Important to note, the insurance company has NEVER decreased the coverage amount on this product, and it is priced so they should never have to.
The bottom line is that this is a great option for you if you are significantly overweight and you need life insurance but don’t want to have an insurance exam.
Other Reasons This Coverage Is Great!
If you’re a type 1 or type 2 diabetic you can currently qualify.
If you have arrhythmia or irregular heart beats you can currently qualify.
If you’ve had a heart valve repair or replacement you can currently qualify.
If you have any autoimmune disorder you can currently qualify.
In addition, if you’re involved in motorized racing, skydiving, mountain climbing, private piloting, scuba diving, or other potentially hazardous activities, then you can currently qualify.
You’ll be under no obligation to keep this policy for any period of time.
So if you happen to drop weight some day and/or if a better rate or policy becomes available to you in the future, you can simply cancel this insurance and start up with a new policy.
If you apply today, you could have the policy delivered to your home in about two weeks.
If you don’t want to go through the regular application process that can take four to six weeks or longer, this no exam life insurance is a great option for you.
We understand that you may not be comfortable being weighed by someone you don’t know, and it’s great that more insurance companies are offering no exam life insurance.
